Still Hopin' In Haiti
Bobby Chance Mar 30, 2010 Hey Everyone, Multitudes are Still Hopin' In Haiti... more and more people are putting their hope and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our ministry team has moved to a new location... a house in port-au-prince that was damaged by the earthquake, but is being rebuilt. So, they are making a place for us among the workers and people coming in and out. WE built a wooden cross this morning and are carrying it out on the streets of the city here and draw people to Jesus. As the Cross is lifted up, Jesus is glorified. Our team is also planning today to minister at an orphanage for handicapped children. It takes from one to two hours to get anywhere in port-au-prince as so many roads are destroyed and closed. It is VERY hot here. There has been a big voodoo march in the city to counter the Jesus marches that have been happening. We know Jesus is the Victor and everywhere His people's feet tread... that area is called back to Him! Before I left Los Angeles, the Lord had me buy a pair of white jeweled sandals and put them in my backpack. I brought them to Haiti looking for the little girl He wanted to bless. I found "Cinderella." Her name is Loseguerdy. She was walking a dirt road alone in a very back woods type jungle area. We went to her little grass hut and called her out. She was wearing a tattered red dress. I sat her down in a chair and strapped the sandals on her little dust covered feet. Loseguerdy felt like a princess as I told her Jesus had sent me from America to find her and give her the sandals. I have pictures of her I will send later. Please continue to pray Psalm 91 over our team. We are trusting Him for divine protection and wisdom to accomplish all He sent us here to do. Our steps are ordered of the Lord!! Please keep us in prayer and consider making a donation to Streetwise Ministry. We need your help to continue Going For Jesus here in Haiti... in LA... and around the world. Keep Dot in prayer and cover her while I am gone please. We love you and could never make it without you. I love you and I thank God for you. I pray for His blessings and favor to be upon you each and every day. Taking The Prince of Peace to Port-au-Prince... Bobby <>< |
