Jere Jorgensen

Many of the people living in the Sonoma County area are from other parts of the state or country. However, I was born and raised in the city of Santa Rosa, the County Seat. I went to Proctor Terrace Elementary School, Santa Rosa Junior High, and Santa Rosa High School. I went to Santa Rosa Junior College from 1969-1971 where I received my A.S. in Electronics.

I worked at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies for almost 30 years as a electronic technician and production supervisor. Then the company moved the manufacturing to Mylasia and laid-off most of their employees in Sonoma County. After a four month vacation I started working at Xandex in Petaluma, California as a production supervisor.

I like to work on the landscaping around my house which also includes ridding it of pests like gophers and moles. Look at the two graphs below. One shows the seasonality of my gopher/mole catches and the other shows how many I've caught. I would be happy to share my expertise with you.
